Donations

Funds from the Burlingame Library Foundation benefit every library user. They also extend and strengthen the library’s role within the community. While the City pays for the library’s basic expenses such as salaries and materials, Foundation support supplements that funding in areas where the library deems it will have the greatest impact. Special Events

Funds generated from our special events enable us to provide critical funding for programming, technology, and collections enhancement at the Burlingame Public Library. In addition to ticket sales to attendees, this is a fun way for local businesses to sponsor an event and be involved! Learn More

An Annual Campaign

Each year, the Foundation launches a campaign collect donations from community members to support the Burlingame Public Library. With each campaign, we set a fundraising goal at the beginning of the year and close the year by reporting what the library has done with the funding all year long in our yearly annual report. Book Sales

Books are on sale in the Foundation Book Store on the main level by the Fika Café, to the left of the circulation desk. The Burlingame Library Foundation has BIG book sales twice a year as well as pop-up events and online sales through platforms like Amazon and Ebay. Learn More
